Personal events policy
Guidelines for handling time off and company support for significant personal events, ensuring a balance between employee needs and business continuity.
(Effective December 19, 2022)
Gear Inc. understands that each employee is not just a part of the company, but also an individual with significant events in their life. Therefore, the Personal Events policy has been established to support and accompany employees during special moments.
Note: The personal event support amount will be paid into the employee’s salary account at the end of the month in which the event occurs. If the Human Resources department receives information about the personal event after the 20th of the month, the support amount will be paid at the end of the following month.

Before giving birth | The company will prepare a gift box for the baby and send it to the family to celebrate the baby’s birth. | Notify the Human Resources department of the expected delivery date and the baby’s gender 2 months before the due date. | |

Come back after maternity leave

Funeral
(applicable for parents, parents-in-law, spouse, son or daughter, the grandparent or siblings) |

Notes:
Days off for wedding and funeral events will not be deducted from vacation days. If the staff does not spend them all, they will neither add the remaining days to vacation days nor convert them to salary days.
(*): Applied for all hospitalization illness except the illness in the long-term disease treatments issued by the Ministry of Health

If an employee’s event belongs to more than one type of event, the employee will receive the benefit of the highest one, not the combined benefits of all.
